"Dear Yamaha Motor Corporation:
I would like to tell you a true story about a group of very talented and wonderful people that work at Cheyenne Yamaha here in Cheyenne Wyoming. It all started about six weeks ago when I went to all the motorcycle dealers here in Cheyenne. At the time, I had my heart set on buying a Harley Davidson mototcycle. I even called to other cities around the United States to locate a dealer that would give me a good deal on a Harley, because I was paying cash. To my surprise, they all blew me off, or told me that all their motorcycles were sold at Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price and everything else was extra. I was very troubled and dismayed at the way they responded to my queries, like they didn't care.
My reason for buying a Harley started two and a half years ago, the week before my 21 yr old son passed away. My son Orion was very ill and in the hospital. The week before he passed away, we had talked about getting a couple of road bikes and go cruising across country. The next week, our dreams were crushed when Orion died in our arms on Thanksgiving morning in the year of 2002. I thought I would never ride again. Six weeks ago I decided to fulfill our plans after two and a half years and then encountered the obstacles I spoke of earlier. After about two weeks a friend of mine, who is a hard core Harley rider, suggested that I go to the Yamaha Dealership here in Cheyenne. THAT WAS THE BEST ADVICE that I had received in a long time!
The very next week, I went to Cheyenne Yamaha and spoke to Mr. John Goddard. I explained my situation to him a little and the next thing you know positive things started to happen. Mr. Goddard introduced me to the whole new world of Yamaha Cruisers that I never knew existed. The very next week, John found the Road Star Cruiser that I wanted. The next step was to work with the professional and wonderful staff at Cheyenne Yamaha. I was introduced to the staff and then they helped me to make a dream come true. With their help and professional expertise, we created a big, beautiful, bad to the bone cruiser that is second to none. It was a melding of great minds, professional experience, and a lot of heart that brought this creation to life. This Road Star Cruiser has been receiving compliments from all kinds of mototcycle enthusiasts (even hardcore Harley riders) all through the creation process. This has to be one of the best experiences of my life! My wife even got involved in the process.
